OFIDIA2 participation in the European Cooperation Day 2019

Amateur Video Competition

The project OFIDIA2 was awarded the third place in the “Europe is You” Amateur Video Competition set up by the Interreg Greece – Italy programme for the European Cooperation Day, 2nd national event, that was held in Rome on November 24^th – 25^th, 2019.

Participants were asked to make a very short video (no longer than 40 seconds) responding very briefly to the question: Why EUROPE IS YOU? (how does Europe benefit you?), with the aim of raising citizens’ awareness of the benefits of being part of Europe and engaging them in the values of cooperation.

The video submitted by OFIDIA2 involved students from the “Geremia Re” middle school in Leverano (Lecce) and it was shot during their visit to the State Nature Reserve “Le Cesine” that was organized within the scope of the first OFIDIA2School contest set up by the project.
